Things to Do at Our Mountaintop Resort

Enjoy Year-round Activities

No matter the season, there is something great to do at Mohonk Mountain House. In the spring, tour our newly planted gardens and observe all the flowers budding. Summertime brings outdoor barbeques, swimming in the lake, tennis, and disc golf. Watch the leaves turn brilliant colors in the fall, and traverse our hiking trails on cross-country skis throughout the winter.

Be as active or relaxed as you want to be. From outdoor activities to award-winning spa treatments to the Kids’ Club, there is no shortage of things to do at Mohonk Mountain House, whether you are here for a vacation or business meeting. However, we won’t blame you if you decide to just relax and take in the view from the accommodations at our Hudson Valley adventure resort!

As an overnight guest at our inclusive Hudson Valley resort, you can enjoy a wide range of activities as part of your rate*. For generations Mohonk Mountain House has provided hiking, boating, swimming, and much more to guests.

Located in the middle of 40,000 acres of pristine forest along the Shawangunk Mountains, Mohonk Mountain House is a beautifully scenic Victorian castle resort with an abundance of activities available onsite. If you do not have an overnight reservation, we invite you to purchase a grounds pass to enjoy hiking or make a reservation for a meal for access to selected activities at our resort.

Guests who are interested in visiting on a day trip from NYC may purchase a hiking pass at the Gatehouse and park in the adjacent lot.
