Brief Overview

On April 4, 2006, Pagavé Salon was established. The temporary salon opened in the circa 1840's home of owners Paul Van Liew and Joseph Jaworski, while their new salon could be designed and executed. Co-owner Karen Metzler Sgroi was quickly on board. The first floor of the home turned into a full functioning salon, complete with 4 hair stations, reclining shampoo bowls, a color bar and a full product line, housed in the living room's built-in book shelves. Two previous co-workers joined them and Pagavé soon employed a team of six, including an assistant and scheduling co-ordinator.

Joseph, who also owns Wilmington Builders and Contractors, went on to design and build their new salon located at Independence Mall, in Wilmington. Karen, Paul and Joseph decided that since they received such wonderful feedback on the 1840's house, that they would design and decorate their new salon to look similiar in style. The space has an "Old World" feel, complete with walnut hardwood flooring, maple cabinetry, Murano style lighting fixtures, tumbled marble and granite throughout. The fireplace and salt water aquarium only add to the ambiance. The end result, an absolutely beautiful, comfortable environment, welcoming everyone in grand style.

The award winning boutique at Pagavé is a perfect place to find one of a kind accessories and more!

The Spa at Pagavé opened its doors on December 11, 2007. As expected, just as spectacular as the salon. It is one of Wilmington's finest. The spa offers full service care from head to toe.
